Railroad Watch Seminar

The Big Sandy Heritage Center in conjunction with the Pikeville College Community Education Program conducted a four hour Railroad Watch Seminar during the spring semester of 2008. The course was coordinated by Dr. Mark Sohn of Pikeville College, Museum curator, Everett Johnson and watch collector, Larry Coleman..

Those participating in the event were given a wide variety of information about time and timepieces, as well as being served lunch and given a certificate. There was also and opportunity to buy, sell and swap.
